Heartfelt Thanks

We wanted to update you on Sophie’s progress now she’s back at work. We are so thankful all for your prayers, love and support as we’ve navigated this past year. So blessed.

"Nearly six months post-surgery, I’m starting to find my rhythm for work, travel, and life again. This time has been a journey of resilience, filled with milestones I could only dream of when I was laying in ICU in May. From completing cardiac rehabilitation to reconnecting with my clients and returning full-time to work in September, each step has been a testament to perseverance and the support of my incredible rehab team and colleagues who helped me every step of the way.

Transitioning back to work during the summer was both exciting and emotional. Seeing familiar faces, diving into projects, and feeling the buzz of productivity again reminded me how much I love what I do. Slowly building up my energy were just some of the small wins I achieved as I regained my rhythm; each moment building my confidence to return fully. My clients and colleagues have been incredibly supportive, cheering me on and sharing in the excitement of my journey back. Just as I was getting into the swing of things, it was time to take a break – but this time, to celebrate!

In October, my mum and I set off for an eight-day Caribbean cruise, marking my first international trip since my surgery. The Caribbean welcomed us with open arms, warm weather, and the promise of beautiful days at sea. Being on the ocean felt incredibly freeing, a perfect way to embrace recovery, enjoy a sense of adventure, and celebrate the road ahead. Feeling the Caribbean sun, relaxing on sandy beaches, and swimming in the clear blue sea was a reminder of how

precious these experiences are. This trip wasn’t just a vacation; it was a way to honour my journey, to give thanks for the gift of health, and to remind myself of the dreams I’m still chasing.

This experience has been more than a celebration of health; it’s a testament to the journey and a reminder to keep embracing the things I love. I’m beyond grateful for everyone who has supported me in making these memories possible!
